i am using the toshiba a200/a205 recovery disk sending my laptop back to the factory settings and i get to the second disk and at the end bootmgr is missing. what is the problem?

Re-install using the recovery partition if an option.

i have the same problem I went to restore my labtop and it didnt go all the way through so when i went to restart it said boot manager missing i thought it was because the disks were scratched so i had them resurfaced and tried again well after disk 2 it said recovery error and shut down and when loaded again it says the same message what do i do?

Contact the manufacturer of your system and purchase replacement Vista recovery DVDs. Usual cost in US about USD $20.
