I was working on a desktop PC restoring it from a factory image when i accidently shut off the power to it.

Specs

Emachines T3656
160GB Hard Drive -Hitachi
1GB DDR2
Intel Celeron Processor 440
Windows Vista Home Basic Sp2.
Generic Graphics.

What i'd done so far was use a recovery disc and used Chkdsk /f to fix the problem but no go.

tried bootrec /rebuild, bootrec /fixboot still no go.

im just down to my wit ends. Whats amazing is i used the diskpart command and i can see the original partition also the recovery partition is still intact in the hard drive. Both saying its healthy and active.

Could someone help me with this problem?? Please

Run the Restore to Factory Defaults again from the Recovery Partition.

yeah i thought about doing the same thing spunk but i cant even get to the recovery partition

I checked the website and its no recovery media discs for that operating system.. this sucks bad

Are you pressing Alt + F10 at the eMachine logo to enter Recovery?
If that fails
