I can't figure this one out:

I tried to install a new version of Windows 7 doing a full format. After going through 99% of the installation it failed.

Now I have a "BOOTMGR is missing" error at start up.

I have tried the following so far:

1) Boot from Windows DVD but I get the same error message
2) I swapped the HD with another I had using a version of XP. When I tried to change the boot order in setup it wouldn't save the changes. In order for me to exit the setup the CD/DVD drive had to be the primary drive.

I'm lost at this point any suggestions would be much appreciated.
