Hey everyone. I shut my computer down last night and booted it this morning, only to be greeted with the infamous, "bootmgr is missing. press ctrl+alt+del to restart" message.

I have researched this issue and have done so many suggestions from people facing similar issues to me.

I have attempted to boot from a vista disk to reinstall bootmgr, however, the green loading bar appears and then a BSOD comes up. the error is the "stop" IRQL less than... error.

I'm stumped as to what to do next and any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ps. I ran the dell bios diagnostics and the disk self test result was a pass, as were all the other tests.

my specs are:
Dell XPS 730
Intel QX9770
2x HD3870x2
Seagate- 5qk0h0ey hdd
Western Digital- wd5000aaks hdd
