Booting from M.2 NVMe SSD via PCIe HBA Card

I have an HP 8300 Elite CMT. Currently I have an M.2 NVMe SSD connected to it via a PCIe HBA card.

I would like to clone my current OS drive to it and boot from it.

Anybody on here accomplish this on this model PC? I'm running the latest BIOS available from HP but the NVMe drive is not recognized in the BIOS. But the drive is recognized in Windows as I'm currently using it to run VMs from it.
