There's an option to Clear last user if you install TweakUI for W2K, available for download from Microsoft. It's on the Paranoia tab.

Yep, Microsoft has had a version of TweakUI for all of the common versions of Windows, even for XP, though it has a different interface than the others. Here's a page that points to links to Microsoft for all of them. http://win98private.net/download_links.htm
