Searched forums far and wide without resolve.:upset: Just added a Seagate Desk 1Tb USB HD for storage. All went well until reboot. System hangs on first (setup) screen. Unplug USB and it boots fine. Legacy USB does not exist in the BIOS, and drive order is correct. I've also disabled "Boot from any drive" so that it boots only from selected drive.

I'll be posting this on the XP Support page as well.

No conflicts with USB 1.1 and/or 2.0 No drive letter conflicts.
Athlon XP 2600+
2.05 Ghz 704 M Ram
XP SP3

You shouldn't double post. In any case, I've seen this a few times now...no fix that I've seen so far.
