Hello, I originally posted in the software help section because I belived that my problem was related to a Nvidia display driver issue. I am getting a blue screen stating "IRQL-NOT LESS OR-EQUAL" I have since mothballed the geforce 8600gt I have installed a geforce 8800gts I am not sure if I will be dealing with the same tech as in the original post but all the previous information about my system&problems&attachments are located in the software help section in a post with the same title as above.* I am having issues with panda scan I cannot confirm my account via email so I could not disenfect any files I still ran the scan and will attach the results*********** Thank you

If you installed a new driver recently, it's most likely causing some conflict. Did you try using system restore to see if it helps?

I see a few suspect programs here. We can remove them...

Please print the below instructions or copy them to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the order mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if found:

MorpheusBar
Seekmo
Screensavers.com


Locate the following Files/Folders and delete them if they exist (if no location given, just do a search for them):

C:\Program Files\MorpheusBar\
C:\Program Files\Seekmo\
C:\Program Files\Screensavers.com\

1. Download combofix at http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/ComboFix.exe or http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe Save it to your Desktop before you run it.
2. Double-click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it will produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply.

Note:
Do not click on combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall.

Hello grey knight, I have deleted the files you requested, atleast I think I did. I cannot get the MorpheusBar to uninstall via add or remove programs says" file cannot be found" I typed a search and no match, finally found in program files deleted file, but it still remains in add or remove programs. Also had to delete Seekmo in program files. same for Screensaver.com. Attaching report requested. Thank you

Can you uninstall them after you deleted their folders? Also see if you can find and uninstall 3D Aqua 2, Snowball Wars by OIN and RelevantKnowledge from the Add/Remove Programs panel. They are not good programs to have.

Delete this file:

C:\Windows\3DAqua2.scr

Nothing much else left here.

If you still get the blue screen error, you need to see which device driver you installed last...video card probably and try installing the correct one for it. Uninstall the incorrect drivers first.

Ask in the Windows board for more help as this is not malware related.
