Is the error not accompanied by some descriptive text in block caps such as : DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ? (that line means it's a device driver issue, (bad or incompatible driver). If the system boots into safe-mode Windows without the error, it's almost certainly a driver conflict or simply a bad driver, since in safe mode only a bare minimum set of drivers are loaded, and they are all certified microsoft ones.

But the descriptive text in block caps which I referred to is just as vital as the error code itself in determining the cause.

If the error code appears during booting up it could be an indication of faulty or mis-matched RAM modules, so if you have more than one stick installed, remove them all except one, restart and see what happens. If error persists, remove that stick and replace with a different one until you've tried them all.
