Hello!
I turned my computer on today and received a "Load needed DLL's for Kernel" error. I found some step by step instructions on line (not sure I can post the link here) that seemed to work until my re-boot.

I now get the following blue screen error code:
*** STOP: 0x0000007E (0xc0000005, 0xB6489020, 0xB84FB6CC, oxB84FB3C8)

I tried a system restore but that didn't work.
Any ideas of what to do next?

Thanks!
Foo

Hi Foohead,

You can perform a Windows Repair on your computer and see if that resolves you issue. You will definitely need your Windows XP CD in order to perform a Windows Repair. Boot the computer to your Windows XP CD and perform a Windows Repair and hopefully that will fix your issue.

Windows repair didn't work, and neither did the in place installation. Sooo after several frustrating hours i've just decided to do a re-format and re-install. Funny thing though, I bought an external HD a few weeks ago and backed up everything. So all I'm out is time and some hair that I pulled out.
thanks for you help
