Hello,

This is my first post. I have read some similar discussions with respect to BSoD on Win7.

I have had similar problems with power state failure, but there are other instances where I will be truckn' along using IE / Firefox, skype, msn, Steam client and maybe even outlook 2007 open, and all of a sudden BSoD. Not each time have I been able to catch it and read the reason for shutting down, but I do not usually have a ton of apps loaded at once. I use Lavasoft's Ad-Aware as well as AVG Free anti- virus.

There are no add's or virus' running rampant. I have a Intel Core2 duo [email protected] 3 Ghz, 6 GB Ram, 64bit OS. I also have ATI Radeo 4890 video card. No added sound cards.

I have 2 Hard drives but windows is installed only on the primary drive.

I will attach the .nfo file of what I think was the memory dump (as I read how do to it in another thread).

If there is someone who can help I would be very greatful.

Please post the information from this post for us to help you: http://www.techsupportforum.com/1871981-post2.html

Meanwhile, the MSINFO32 file contains some hints:
- your antivirus program is locking up. Please select another antivirus (here's a list of free one's: http://www.carrona.org/freeav.html ) then...

- uninstall the current antivirus
- install the new antivirus and IMMEDIATELY update it
- scan your system with the new antivirus and let us know the results.

Also, you have these BSOD errors:
