Hey guys,

Ive been having a strange problem lately...

My computer works fine, and thanks to the excellent work here I have managed to keep it spyware free since I got it cleaned. Lately however, when I start up and try to connect to the net (cable modem) the computer freezes and goes to a blue screen which informs me there has been an error. This only happens when I attempt to connect to the net. It then begins dumping data to physical disk...

What is causing this? Can it be fixed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would read everything this section has to say (especially the General Troubleshooting link). You should check the device manager and make sure you don't see any yellow exclamation points, which indicate a conflict.

If you installed any new software or drivers around the time this started happening, then I would try removing them.

Ok cool. I managed to update the driver for a USB hub. The other exclamation point seems to be directed at the network controller. It says there is no driver installed...
