Blue screen in XP...help!!!

Hello All,

I have been getting a blue screen and a message that reads:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

I have no idea what that means or how to fix it. This message has been appearing ever since I disinfected my computer, if that helps.

How and what did u "disinfect it?" Also... have u tried bootin in safe mode?

I had some spyware on my computer earlier this month. I posted my logs on TSF and followed the instructions the techs laid out for me. Now my computer is completely spyware clean, but I keep getting that error message.

Ask a mod to look it over, (the log fix) then... try last known good config.

Go to Start>run and with your xp CD in a drive type sfc /scannow>press Enter key ... allow the file checker to replace any damaged or missing system files.

Follow this by uninstalling your main drivers and reinstall them... if the problem persists, go to Start>Run again and type msconfig>OK then halt all but the essential background programs and see if that helps - if it does, then reintroduce each program one at a time to identify which could be causing the problem ... use this to work out what is what:-
