Hi,

I've got a repeating problem with my PC where about 10-20 mins into a gaming session, I get green rectangles appear on the screen while the game crashes before going to a blue screen and then automatically rebooting.

It's happened on Crysis and The Last Remnant so far but doesn't happen on Morrowind, Oblivion or Football Manager.

I'm completely stumped by this problem, so any help in finding out what the problem is and how tot fix it would be great.

My system is Core2Duo E6400 2.13Ghz, 4GB's of RAM, Nvidia 8800GT, Asus P5E Mobo, Corsair HX620W.

Hope someone can help

Dan

@undocked you can run Crysis with a 7600GT on low settings. Its is a high end game but you can run it with a multitude of different hardware.

I'm pretty sure I've got all the right drivers, definately got the right Gfx card driver. Where/What is the TSF_Vista folder? :S

I just tried to run ATITool 0.26 and I get this error:

The video card you selected for overclocking in ATITool does not seem to be used by Windows.

Visual testing has been disabled.

To fix this, go to Display Properties, Settings and enable the monitor output of the card.

****

Well I wasn't expecting that. The card is definately enabled, not really sure where to go from here :(

try running ATI tools as administrator.

right click on the program and run as administrator.

The last beta copy was made in 2006, so its not like its been tested for a long time. I had it working with Vista and my GTX 260 just fine.
