Stop Error 0x000000F4: CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION

1st possibility: Changeling's suggestion above.

2nd possibility: Windows XP stops responding when you click or resize a window, or in Windows Server 2003, when you run many console applications, you receive a Stop error message: "0x000000F4"
In this MS KB Article you will find out how to obtain a HOTFIX specially for this problem.

3rd possibility: If still no cigar, there's always the good ol' troubleshooting... Bug Check 0xF4: CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION means that a process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated.
The first paramenter indicates the terminating object type: 0x3 means Process (while 0x6 means Thread).
The second parameter indicates the terminating object, the third the process image file name and the fourth is a pointer to an ASCII string containing an explanatory message.
So, if you get no results from the first two possibilities, we'll simply analyze the minidump to nail that problematic process.
