hi guys, my pc was working perfectly until i tried to install daemon tools and it lead to all sorts of problems, which i managed to fix apart from the problem i have now. when turning pc on it gets to the windows xp loading screen and then when that finishes booom the blue screen of death. the error is as follows ( i have shortened it down a bit).
run a system diagnostic utility supplied by the manufacture. run a memory test. change vid adapter. disable or remove any new harware and drivers. disable or remove any knew software.
****STOP 0X0000007F (0X0000000D 0X0000000 0X0000000)
ive narrowed it down to software, im not sure how to disable the drivers which might be causing the error coz im not sure which ones they are. i got the from event viewer:
The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
d347bu
Fips
intelppm
prodrv06
prohlp02
prosync1
SAVRTPEL
sfhlp01
SYMTDI
p.s i cudnt uninstall daemon tools in safe mode so i deleted manually and removed it from the registry.
sorry for all the writing .....plz help me :( :D

hey dell, try to get into safe mode again by pressing F8 when the computer boots up. then on the safe mode menu, choose "last good configurations" and see if that solves your problem.

and another, see if you can try to perform a system restore while in safe mode. good luck
thanks for ur reply, i have tried last known good configuration and that enables me to get passed the windows xp loading screen and on the desktop for a few seconds and the i get the blue screen error and system restore fails, dont know why
