This is pretty much identical to the situation I'm currently facing. I've been advised to get a new PSU, I should have it in my system in 48 hours so I'll let you know how I get on.

Hey, I got a new PSU, the computer switches on now but I don't know what'll happen in the coming days/weeks, if it's just a fluke that the computer switched on or if it's going to be constant.

But I suggest you try the same, especially at the price of the psu above.
