After closing the lid on my laptop the other day I now have a totally black screen. Machine seems to boot up ok and able to use caps, num & scroll lock keys and lights come on/go off ok, so seems very much like something has failed in the display. Any ideas what this could be? Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Ideas on problem and costs for parts and labour would be appreciated. Thanks

Yesterday Something similar happened to my labtop, when I start it up the screen just shows someslightly white lines on a black screen and after some time it gradually leaves the right side black and the left side white/blue. i think the OS is running, but i can se nothing on the screen, not even the bios screens that come before OS is loaded.

I think it's a hardware problem, seing as my labtop does it even when i boot it without the hardisk.

Yeah it is a hardware problem i recon the connection wire might be too loose.



IS THERE NO ONE TO HELP US
