I have a V/A Mainboard computer that I was installing Windows 2000 on and the power in my apartment went off. I tried to restart on the Windows 2000 CD-ROM, but I had no luck. I then went into DOS and formatted the hard drive. Upon restarting the computer, all I get is a blinking gray cursor in the upper left hand corner of the screen. I tinkered with the BIOS boot order and some other stuff, still the same thing, and even made a 98 boot disk with the BIOS set back to default. I still have a blinking gray cursor in the upper left hand corner of the screeen.
