I've just bought a new Samsung HDD 250gb and connected it as slave to an existing 80gb HDD. The BIOS and XP are both only recognising it as 80gb in total.
The mother board is only about 12 months old, but I updated the BIOS to the latest just in case - but still only 80gb of the 250gb is recognised. I have also downloaded various partitioning software demos all of which see 80gb only.
Before I complain to the retailer about a HDD which is labelled 250gb but is actually 80, is there anything I'm missing??
I've attached a screenshot of Disk Manager.
Thanks
