I think I came across a corrupt bios on a machine a few weeks back. I've since past the point of repairing it now, but am wondering just how a BIOS would become/get corrupted??
I am not looking to repair machine, I've already replaced the board, and tossed the old one.. I was just curious, as to how it could have become corrupted, (if indeed that was the issue). But since I have you here, are you aware of where I can do some extra reading about diagnosing and possibly repairing such an instance??
Thanks
As I said before, there are a number of reasons a Bios can become corrupt. I've only ran across the problem a few time and it has always been an infection.
