I have a problem to install windows Xp pro sp2,Frist step: I format my harddrive then windows collect file for setup completed,now the windows try to restart to the second step,when the windows xp logo start up is frezee from there can't go to window Intall, I try to reboot still same problem,i try put another the harddrive in still same prolem,would any one know this problem,please help me.Thank you very much.:wave:

try it with one stick of ram at first.
please post your complete specs including the power supply.

I have 3.2ghz CPU,2 stick ram 2x1GB,450w power supply, one DVD drive,one CD rwriter drive,ASUS P4P800 motherboard. one 80GB hard drive.

Could be either or both of the RAM sticks or even the slots.

May also be the CD/DVD you are installing from.

Sorry for the lack of a solution here, I just wish I could be of more help.
