Hi,

What are the specs (see under my signature area) of this computer. Are you using an old hard drive from another computer or a new one trying to do a clean install? Do you have a valid OS disk?

Please provide these details and then we can try to find out what is wrong.

Hi,

Still need to know about the hard drive situation . Is it an old one from another computer or a new one you want to install on? Also, you didn't tell us about the power supply, like watts, brand name, and amps per rail. That information is very important to figuring out what might wrong. An additional question, do you get any post beeps?

Then, in the meantime with these symptoms, start checking these:

> Reseat Video card

> Make sure you have the auxiliary lead on your video card

> Make sure the Heatsink/Cpu is snapped clear down and not loose on one side. Also, double check the heatsink fan is connected the correct place on the motherboard.

> Make sure you have the little (almost square) 12v molex plugged into the motherboard.

Post back with the information and results of double checking.

Give us that info that we need.

Also, go ahead and clear the CMOS because it can't harm anything. If you need instructions, please tell us.
