Hi all , heard this is a common problem.
Bf2 just closes when on the "connecting to account server" screen , it does it on both multiplayer and single.
steps taken so far to stop it :
1.double the ram (now 2gb)
2.reinstall the game
3.download latest patch

Still isnt working , i have just plkayed san andreas for about 2 hours though , so it is just BF2 .
any help would be greatly welcomed!

did you delete the files when you uninstalled it?also you may want to visit the punkbuster site,and manually update pb.
