I own the playstation 3 slim and I want to upgrade it to a 320gb or 500gb HDD. I know that some HDD's stutter and skip when playing games. Can anyone reccomend a HDD that does not have these problems?

Hey Workaholic, Welcome to TSF,

Any 2.5'' hard-drive which has a speed of 5400RPM should do the trick (although a 7200RPM one would be nicer, there is no point wasting money for something which won't really make an impact for the PS3).

Western Digital and Seagate are 2 of the big, reputable brands which would be good choices to go with.

If your from the U.S. This one looks good enough for the PS3 and at $40, you can't really complain (though its only 160GB so if you want more, you'll need to find another one).
