beep beep beep...video card problem?

Hello,

I am having a problem wherein when I boot up my PC, it gives out 1 long beep then 2 short ones, then repeats this sequence of beeps endlessly, the beeps are high frequency. I have an AwardBIOS manufactured by Phoenix and I've read from here that this corresponds to a video card problem, however, I've also read that repeating beeps are caused by RAM problems, and high-frequency beeps mean an overheated CPU. So does this mean I have a bad RAM, bad video card, and an overheated CPU? lol

How come sometimes when I boot it gives out these beeps but sometimes it doesn't and I can boot my PC up anyway?

Post the make/model of the PC. If custom built then post the specs.

MB-CPU-RAM-GPU-PSU brand/wattage

1long,2 short beeps usually indicate a graphics problem.

Has the inside of the PC been cleaned lately?

Check to make sure that the graphics card is fully seated in the slot firmly.
