Someone's laptop I'm trying to fix is infected with the bankerfox.a trojan. I performed a scan with Malwarebytes' Anti Malware and it cleaned a trojan but it's still infecting the system when booted up normally. It won't allow any .exe programs to run, including task manager. I'm guessing there's something that needs to be manually deleted, below is the hijackthis log.

Would really appreciate any help, thanks!!

Hello matt4685

You will have to fix the "exe" problem and then visit our Virus Removal forum to get the system cleaned properly

exe fix
Follow the instructions here
Please be aware that if you reboot before the system is clean, the exe problem might return

Then follow these instructions
Please read “Virus/Trojan/Spyware Removal Help “ and follow the instructions very carefully; then, post all the requested logs and information in the Virus Help Forum
If you cannot complete any step, just miss it out and do what you can, but be sure to include this information in your post.
Please ensure that you create a new thread in the Virus Help Forum; not back here in this one.

Please be patient, as the Security Team Analysts are usually very busy; one of them will answer your request as soon as they can.
