Baldur's Gate Vista Problems

I recently loaded Baldur's Gate TotSC on my new computer with Vista. After I created a character it asked me to put CD 1 in the C drive, which on my computer is the hard drive, plus the CD was already in the DVD drive. Does anyone know what I can do to get the game to play? Thanks.
