We've developed a web application with static & iframes, each time we interact with the links in the static frame gives results in the iframe.
it has a custom back button in the static menu frame. this back button working fine in IE7 IE8 but not properly working in IE9 it goes 3 sometimes 4 pages back.

we are using history.go(-1)
is there any other way to make it work in IE9, even pressing the Backspace key wont work. we've tried many ways but no use.

A similar discussion came up within TSF staff. I'm not sure it describes your problem, but solution was to hit back button twice.

hitting the back button once IE9 works fine but it takes to -3 or -4 pages back or to the home page, not as like -1. our app works fine in IE7-8. we've tried in firefox and chrome it takes two clicks on the custom back button to go back.

now our clients are upgraded to IE9 and wants to work with it. thats where the problem raised.

The old point and see History and choose which page to revert to still exists. Right click the back button and see the choices. As far as automatically going back one page, I can't find a setting since this should be the default.
