I was registered here before, but can't remember any of the login information...reboot, then.
While running a scan with Avast, it notified me 100 times with *.exe files (those beginning with A) from the System Volume Information folder.
My question: Does Avast tend to send out false positives in connection with this folder? Can't imagine being infected with that many trojans.
Or should I get over to the HJT board, already? :sigh:
And as a follow-up question:
Can this folder be safely removed? It contains information for system restore, I know. But are there any problems if I was going to delete it?
