I have a worksheet that has many columns across where the entry may change at anytime in each group. I would like each group to sort anytime a new entry is made for that group.

I tried to attach XLS file but it would not allow. Please help.

For example there are 10 names in a column each with a birthdate and a couple of other adjacent cell entries. I would like these 10 names with adjacent cells to automatically sort these by birthdate.

Hey Marty,

To attach a file, it needs to be zipped.

How do you want things to be sorted? We can create a series of excel formulae to act as a "sort", but it will add to the complexity of your workbook, and therefore the time for calculation. It will also likely change the way you input information.

The easiest and quickest way to do it, is a macro. Why can you not use a macro? Just curious.

Thanks,
