Hello everyone,

I have a small problem, I just created an excel spreadsheet of Items that I have stored in shelves. What I'm trying to do is have the sheet auto sort in column A alphbetically but also have column B and C sort as to A.

Exaple:

I have 20 lines of items when I enter a new product with the stock# and tray number when it get sorted alphbetical in column A I would like Column B and C to move up with that new item.

Original sheet

Items class/stock tray

cell 090-2537 3
batteries 123-4567 5
wrenches 234-5678 8
torque wrench 345-6789 10

When the line that says Torque wrench moves up to the alphabetical spot I would like the class/stock# and tray to move up also as in the example below

Hi Joseph,

You have to select the entire range, then in the Data tab/ribbon select sort and it will let you designate what columns to sort by. Important thing is to have the entire range A1 thru Cnn selected so that all the columns get resorted along with the key column(s) driving the resort.
Save a backup copy before you resort.
