I'm not sure if this should go here, in the sound card forum, or the online gaming forum. I apologize if it's in the wrong one.

I'm wondering if there exists some software that reroutes audio channels the way Windows Vista does.

The reason I'm asking, is that I use a wireless headset when I play online. However when I record my games using FRAPS, it only records "What you Hear". On a stereo headset that's not a problem because I can just turn on mic feedback and record what I say. However on the USB headset that's not an option.

It's even more complicated, because the USB headset is used for sound input only. I use higher quality headphones for sound output, so I can't just set FRAPS to record the sound output from the USB headset, because then it will only record my voice.

Supposedly Vista has an audio sub-system built-in that handles exactly what I'm looking to do. My question is, is it possible to have that same functionality on Windows XP? And if so, how?

Thanks!
