and now i have a big problem.

I changed my boot screen, but when i restarted, windows couldnt open because it said "ntoskrnl.exe was corrupt"

I backed up the file on my harddrive...but i cant get to my harddrive because my system refuses to load windows from my CD rom, and i have no clue how to do it using boot disks. can the boot disks get me to my CDrom ? or at least to my harddrive ? or to access the cd to make repairs ? please help

yes

here's what i was able to do...i was able to replace the ntoskrnl.exe file from my install cd using the boot disks, however, the cd is xp pro, and i am running xp pro SP1, so apparently the file is either named difffently, or its just not the same. now i need that file on a cd rom i think.
