I'm running Windows XP Professional on my laptop. Ativa USB 2.0 Flash Drive is not recognized - no message "Found New Hardware" - no drive letter in My Computer. Flash drive light blinks on then goes off. What are my options??

Hi, welcome to TSF

Check the flash drive on another computer, and look in BIOS to see if 'USB 2.0 Support' is enabled.

Are you using a hub or plugging directly into the computer? Have you tried any other ports?

If any other USB devices work, are they USB 1 or 2?

I tried all my USB ports - I'm using 3 ports for printer, Logitech Quickcam and a power supply for a bluetooth head piece. Maybe they are USB 1 or 2. The Ativa is 2.0. So I do need to replace this with a USB 1.0 or can I download a driver for this??

Is USB 2.0 enabled in BIOS?

See if the Ativa works when you remove some of the other devices.
