First off here are my system specs:

AMD Athlon 4000+ 2.4 ghz
Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939 (n-force 3 250 gig chipset) Motherboard
One Gigabyte of G-Skill RAM
250 Gigabyte SATA Hardrive
NEC DVD Burner (16x)
Rosewill 550 Watt PSU
ATI 512 MB X1600 PRO 8X AGP
17 Inch Tyrus LCD

My rig was working at a LAN party, and when I brought it home it wouldn't show anything on my display after I attempted to boot it up. The graphics card is plugged in to the PSU, and obviously is in the AGP slot. When I turn on the computer, the fan comes on so I know that the card is getting power from the motherboard in addition to the small 4 pin running off of the PSU. The card is securely in the agp port, and I know it is booting properly. I've tried using a different monitor too, yet the RGB cables I have tried all confirm the same thing: My VGA card is not sending anything out over the RGB, and yes I have tested this with DVI.

On ati.amd.com I came across this article which may explain why I am experiencing issues:

I am beginning to think that I may just need to purchase a new motherboard, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Don't get ahead of yourself, it's probably something simple.

Do you have another AGP card you could try in the slot to see if that would work? That'll either prove that it's a motherboard issue, or it'll show the video card at fault.
