I've had this card for over two years now, and suddenly last night it seems to have failed. i tried starting up world of warcraft and it wouldn't start because "3D rendering could not start." It told me to check my drivers and direct x installation, which i did. I was running the omega modded drivers for ati radeon, but unistalled those, and installed the factory drivers. i tried using the windows default VGA driver, reinstalling the omega drivers, disabling/enabling the video card, underclocking, reinstalling direct x, but nothing seems to work.

It would seem to me that the card is burned out but i was hoping maybe it wasn't... anyone got any ideas?

Sounds like Direct X is borked on your system. You did try to reinstall but that didn't work for you. In this case it sounds like a reinstallation of the OS is necessary. You can do a repair install which retains the settings you have or a clean install which gives you a fresh start. You can do a clean install simply by installing into a directory with a different name. Many machines install with the C:\WINDOWS directory but others might use C:\WINNT. If you install in a new directory you'll get the clean install advantage without having to format or lose any files in the process.
