After a recent Windows update my 3 year old Asus Zenbook turns off when it should sleep with lid shut, power button press, etc. While this thing starts up to a useable state in 15 seconds, this is still a PITA since I lose all my open apps and web pages (although Chrome will restore pages). Anyone have a solution to this?

Did the power options happen to change at all?

Begin checking with those options and make sure that they are not set to sleep.
