I have the latest W-7 drivers along with all the updates to W-7 installed. The USB ports (6 of them do not work). They all show OK in the device manager - quite puzzling to me

This was a 'full install" - previous OS was Win XP and the P5Q worked perfectly.

Any thoughts?

Did you install the Mobo drivers?

Yes I have installed all the MoBo drivers

(the Device Manager shows all USBs correct):4-dontkno

E4300 Dual core - 2GB Ram

Check the Asus site for any updated Chipset drivers or possibly a Bios update. I have the same Mobo in one of my PC's and it had no problems with 7.

OOPS!!!

I did not have the latest BIOS - Updated that and also disabled "Expressgate", now, all is well.
