Okay, I'm usually pretty good at this stuff, but I'm to the point of pulling out what little hair I have left.

System Specs: Asus P4P800-E motherboard, Intel P4 3.2Ghz processor w/hyperthreading activated, GeForce FX 5500 video card, 1 gig of RAM, two (2) Seagate 250 gig hard drives, and Windows XP Pro (executive).

Problems: I seem to have a driver conflict with the video card that freezes up my system whenever it feels like pissing me off, which is about every hour or so. I boot to Safe Mode, and it stops at AGP440.SYS, so I go in and disable that, but then the manufacturer's video drivers don't work either. Then, while AGP440.SYS is disabled, it hangs on MUP.SYS, so I go disable that, too. Need I say more?

I need some help configuring this thing because I can't go on like this. I use this system (or at least I PLAN to use this system) for the bulk of my work, but I can't do much with it the way it is. Any advice or help will greatly be appreciated.

Thanks.
