ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe Ram Problem!!

I've just brought an ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe motherboard, very pleased with it.
I need to put the max amount of Ram that it will support in it, this currently is 4GB. AS it only has 4 Ram slots this needs to be done with 1GB ram.
The problem is that of the four slots 2 are black and two blue and from there list of approved ram only specific makes and models of ram are supported using both blue and black slots. The secound problem is there is no listings for 1GB ram chips only 512 and 256.
Have emailed Asus in the US (a week ago)with no reply, and from there web site they do not seem to have a UK office.

Does anyone know were i can get this info from as spening £1,000+ on ram to find it want work is a little worrying.

Welcome Dominic I............... :D

Have a look here!
Why do you want 4GB RAM

4*1.0Gb PC2100 (PC266) DDR ECC Registered Memory (Infinion Major) £841.32
4*1.0Gb PC2100 (PC266) DDR Memory Major £512.32
4*1.0Gb PC2700 (PC333) DDR ECC Registered Memory (Samsung Major) £961.16

2GB is out now
1*2.0Gb PC2100 (PC266) DDR ECC Registered Memory (Samsung Major) 809.58

There isnt a 1GB at PC3200 yet so thats why i stuck with 4*512MB
4*512Mb PC3200 (PC400) DDR Memory (Major) 258.52
all the above except the 2GB stick will work on the MB
