I have read about alot of people having problems with the Motherboard and I'm wondering if anybody can help me with this.

I have a

Asus P4C800 Deluxe
CPU: 2.6 Ghz 800 fsb
30 Gb hard drive
512 MB Ram
ATI Radeon 9800

I always manage to start it up but it should start up without me having to mess with.
I start it up after I take the side of the tower and then I put a fan to it and unplug the powre cord for about 20 seconds. I leave the side of the tower off and start it up. If you try that a couple times it always will start up. At least it does with me. When it does start up I just put the side back on and I don't have any problems any more. But when I shut it back off and start it back up I have to do it all over again. Asus should at least give a solution to this problem.

Welcome to the forums etmconely...............:D

It sounds like something is not connected properly. Or the power supply isn't giving it enough of juice to get it fired up.

i have exactly the same problem, most of the time the system just doesnt boot up...fans show the only sign of life.

With a bit of messing about i can get the thing to boot, and once running it is perfect, stable even when overclocked to 3.1G.

I have swapped my enermax 300w for a Antec 480W and makes no difference.
I have reset the Cmos, updated Bios and reset again, changed all settings and jumpers, disconnected all drives, removed the memory, changed video card - all have no effect.
There is no POST, and no beeps.

There is no loose connections as u can move wires etc while it is running and all is ok.

i have concluded that the mainboard is faulty so i am trying to get refund or replacement.
