Im noy sure if this where i should post this but im having some issues with my asus laptop. Starts normally but after like 4 or 5 mins it freezez, but the image gets distorted and little rectangles show, kinda like static but its the image. Then it completely stops and i have to turn it off by pressing the power on button. I have my laptop on most of the day and just put it to sleep during the night. I dont know if this is cause the problem. Thanks!

Please check all of the air intakes and exhaust areas. Because this issue occurs after 5 mins. or so, it sounds as if it may be heat related.

I used it yesterday and it worked, i just reduced the brightness of the screen and was able to use it without problems. Today happened again but my brightness was all the way up, could this be the problem?
