I'm building my first PC for gaming and have been looking at sli mobos. I was looking at the DFI because it is suppose to be good for overclocking, but alot of people say its not for easy for noobs to get it working. So I started to look at the Asus because it looks more noob friendly. My question is, should I go with the more OC friendly DFI or is the Asus just as good but easier on noobs like me.

they are both good motherboards overall. both motherboards perform well and are very stable. i agree with what you said though about how the DFI is overclocker friendly.

if overclocking is a big plus for you, then just go for the DFI. im sure you will get it working. i havent heard anything yet of how the DFI board is hard to work with.

check out www.newegg.com for the hottest deals.

Extreme:

The biggest mistake I see SLI adventurers make is not getting a good strong PSU / I will warn you !!!! You want an Enermax 600 watt or OCZ and no less than 600 watt / that set-up is a real power hungry BEAST !!!!!
