Dear friends, I want to ask about something... The clock in my computer is always restarted on it's own whenever I turn on the computer. I ask some of my friends and they all agree that the problem is in the CMOS battery. They said it's need to be changed. But when I open the CPU, there's a guarantee seal at the top of the battery... Is that okay if I remove the guarantee seal to change the battery?

Do what you have to do to remove it and that should be very easy. If that seal is simply a stick on sticker, it has no value at all. I am not familar of your individual one, but don't see a need to have that on there.

Wal Mart has those batteries for about $2.50 or so or like $4.50 for two of them.
