PSU

Gigabyte Odin Pro

RAM

Kingston

Apacer

Additional Questions

o Will a 620W(assume all brand are of the same quality) be enough to power a 9800GT and Q9550

o Are there any major difference between 8800GT and 9800GT?

o Could I play on high settings on recent video games with the 9800GT?

Thanks in advance!

I have had 4 models of the Gigabyte Odin PSU. Reviews of it were excellent which spurred me on to buying it. Two of the first PSU I received were abysmal to say the least. Every 3-7th week under consistent load, it would just stop working. I ditched them.

The new Odin PSU's that were given as replacement were of the best out there.

You'll need to list more details, i.e., the specific model numbers of the PSU/RAM you're after. Most companies nowadays makes good and bad products, as well as some in between so we can't advise you just on the brand name. :)

Kingston RAM is mostly good except The HyperX has some issues with many Mobo's.

I dont live in the US so I dont think NewEgg can deliver it to my house and besides I dont like buying things online...lol.

Anyways the PC store near our house has a Corsair but it only has 600W and Tumbleweed36 recommended a 750W if I were to upgrade to a 9800GTX.

How about an Enermax PSU, overall do they make good PSUs?

Would a Enermax 625wtwin fan EPR625AWT be enough to power a 9800GTX + Intel Q9550? If not would it be enough to power a 9800GT + Intel Q9550

If you go back and re-read what I said in your other thread, I said a 650 would run it, but I said a 750 would even be great.
tumbleweed36 in other thread said:
If this were my rig and I wanted to run it with a 9800gtx, you will need a bare minimum of a 650 watt supply. A 750 would even be great if you find a nice deal with a quality brand name like corsair.
At that time, you said you were overclocked, so a 750 made more sense if you are delving in to the overclock area as you were. A 625 should run it if you don't plan on overclocking.
