I have just purchased the following upgrades for my PC:
Motherboard - http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/114742 (Socket 775 & supports dual core & PCI-e which is what I was looking for)
CPU - http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/93109/rb/23822111416 (LGA775 & Dual Core which is compatible with the new motherboard)
Video Card - http://www.videocardshop.co.uk/[email protected]@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@&prodid=PV-T73G-UGD (PCI-e card which will fit into the PCI-e slot on the motherboard)
Power Supply - http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/114929 (500w Power Supply which should be enough power to support the new upgrades. It is also made by Antec which is a plus)
ATX Case - http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/110843/rb/23878860434 (I had to buy a new ATX case as my present case is mATX so the new mobo wouldn't fit unfortunately)
Anyway, here is a list of the rest of my PC hardware (as far as I know):
1 DVD/CD-Rom Drive
1 Floppy Drive
2 Sticks of DDR RAM
2 Hard Drives (I think... A 40gb HDD as the main drive & A 4gb HDD as recovery drive)
All I'd like to know is whether everything will be compatible as I don't want to receive it all and then find out that I missed something out. I'm pretty sure I went over everything with a fine comb but I could always have missed something out. I've already ordered everything as it's a Christmas present for myself so if I have to return anything due to it not being compatible I'll be pretty disappointed.
