as title says, are all 2.5" laptop hard drives the same fitment ? i've bought a laptop off of ebay which is an RM AL51, and needs a hard drive, so will this one fit ;

there is 2 types of hdd in a lap top.

ide/pata


sata,if its a old lap top it will have ide/pata if its recently new it will have a sata

that model has a IDE/PATA HDD,

yes it will but stay away from a refurbished hdd especially for £27.00 plus its only a 60g,I will give you a link for amazon UK,this is a new hdd,its 160g and only costs £40.00
