Applying group policy to a user account?

Hi,


I have a network with a Windows 2008 Server and several client machines. The clients have joined the domain, and when editing the Default Domain Policy in Group Policy Management, I can see the changes when logging in and out of the client machines.

So I tried creating some new policies under Group Policy Objects. When I add the specific user to the Security Filtering field, and then log in as that user, none of the settings I implemented in that policy are applied.


Is there something I'm missing?
