Hi me again.....
Just wondering when my computer loads up it always starts with an application error, it looks like this.
CLi.exe - application error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). click on ok to terminate the application.

Have you any idea where to go on the computer to rectify this fault ?

thanks again.
From terry.

At this rate with the problems im getting it might be better to reformat the computer.
Only worry is that you loose all saved data.

Hi Terry. Are the Advanced settings in Display Properties working?

Which graphics card and drivers are you using? If it's an ATI, go to Start > Run and type msconfig. Under the Startup tab, remove any references to the ATI Catalyst Control Center, then reboot.

If that didn't work and you're using the latest Catalyst drivers, try an earlier version or the Omega drivers.

btw, reformatting is the very last resort... there's usually a better solution.
